Tybee Island is the perfect destination wedding in Southeastern United States. There are many beautiful areas on the beach to have a ceremony as well as inns and chapels. Some of my favorite are the Tybee Island Chapel And Grand Ballroom and The Tybee Island Inn.

I have been learning more contemporary songs lately and it's been a fun process creating arrangements that a are full and that work well in weddings. "Shallow" is perfect for ceremonies to use during processionals and pre and post music and even receptions.

This Saint Patty's Day I decided to do a duet with me playing the Irish drum and guitar on a song called, Whiskey You're the Devil." I have really spending time with the Bach Cello Suites this month and throughly enjoying them. This set of pieces is from the 6th Cello Suite. The Saraband works great a processional and can be played at varying tempos to accommodate the walking speed of Brides and Attendants. I played the Gavottes as a child and loved them then as I do now. Look for more from this suite in the coming months.

It was a perfect summer wedding. Temperature warm but no too! Small crowd on open lawn under the trees at Palmetto Bluff's hidden mill area. Congratulations to Caitlin and Forrest Balk for taking their vows on a beautiful summer evening last Saturday at Ivy Hall, Roswell, GA.  I had the privilege of playing classical guitar for their ceremony and cocktail hour. The bride's maids and flower girls entered to "Christina Perry's, "A Thousand Years."  And the bride marched to the classic, "You Look Wonderful Tonight. Everyone exited to a raucous version of the Beatles's, "All You Need is Love."

We had quite a lineup of highly professional vendors to support the festivities. The flowers were extraordinary but of course I am very prejudiced because they were done by wife, Julie Driscoll and my sister Dee Reising from Posh Petals Of Gainesville, GA both amazing florist. Ashlyn Photography and A&E Videography were on hand to memorialize occasion in photographs and video. We hope to see their work very soon online. Ivy Hall hosted the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in a very spacious facility overlooking the Chattahoocce River. They were extremely gracious and attended everyones needs perfectly.

Have you ever wanted to go a a time travel adventure? A wedding is a perfect time to try! Kit and Audrey Fisher choose Savannah’s m0st beautiful destination wedding locations, Morrell Park. The park is located on the Savanah Riverfront in Savannah, GA. With tugboats and riverboats gracefully floating by, one felt as though it could be 1819, 1919 or 2019. 

The bride choose classic navy blue and white as her colors. Simple but beautiful white and red roses filled their bouquets. It was a lovely afternoon with picture perfect weather and a gentle temperate  breeze kept everyone comfortable. 

I (Sean Driscoll) had a wonderful time going playing wedding music standards and pop selections. Thank you so much Kit and Audrey for inviting me to be with you for this very special day!
